The Backstory

IMI is from the imagination of Andy Ciordia and fostered lovingly by his wife Robin Ciordia. The actual slogan run’s parallel from two sources. The first was one of the best lines in Braveheart:

Stephen is my name! And Ireland is my island… of course I’m not ON my island!”

The second was the island Cayman to which I proposed to my wife Robin on. In that moment that island became our island. Even though we don’t get to visit often I like to think I have an island paradise in my vivid and often humorous imagination.

To catch something fleeting, to find a way to bring out a character that might not normally be seen. Photographers who love their work share the same things we do and coax the beauty of the world into our lens’ for a lifetime of memories.

Building Better Images through Relationships

You get where you are in the world by those you know. I like to know people. Building a relationship allows for a lot of great moments to come up and when you are surrounded by that you can’t help but take pictures of it.
